Perth is about to go Stereosonic.

After announcing the finest fleet of beat-makers on the planet, the next generation of Stereosonic acts coming to Claremont Showground on Sunday, November 30.

First release tickets have completely sold out – but you can still secure your pass to Stereosonic 2008 in the second ticket release. We’re completely blown away with the response to the inaugural Perth Stereosonic.

Canada’s multi-talented superstar Stu Stone will be heading south for Stereosonic 2009, which takes in dates across the nation. As acclaimed for his acting (Donnie Darko) and net radio programs as much as his rap and music production skills, Stone is a rare talent and we’re blessed to have the man bound for Perth.

He’s one of the most talented titans of trance of his generation and the second biggest act on Paul van Dyk’s VANDIT label – he is Giuseppe Ottaviani. Voted Best Live Act at the Trance awards in both 2004 and 2006, Ottaviani’s latest release No More Alone blends gorgeous melodies with fresh electronic sounds and floor shuddering beats and sumptuous breakdowns.

One of Australia’s finest fish in the sea of electronic music, Sam La More has worked with the greats of the dance of the dance, R&B and pop worlds. His production credits span the globe and his beats are consistent club faves. We welcome him home to Australia for Stereosonic.

Also joining these three icons of the music world are local electronic greats Piet El v DJ Freestyle, Dan Ash & Dave Mule, Hickey, Dasha & Poonie, Benny T & Luca, Zelimir, Maxwell, Paul Scott, Rousa v Simon Barwood, Dr Willis, Brad Every, Jus Haus and Sketch.

The lineup for Stereosonic 2008 has just been announced and this year it is going national. Don’t be surprised if they add more exciting news over the coming months including performers and production highlights.

Stereosonic 08 includes some of the best in local and overseas talent. Sneaky Sound System from Sydney is currently taking the world by storm with the new album debuting at number 1 with their explosive live shows.

Germany’s number 1 DJ and often the world’s number 1, Berlin’s Paul van Dyk headlines the overseas contingent presenting his semi-live show of his favourite secret-squirrel advances fused with his own killer productions that have helped shape and define a sound that has rocked the very foundations of dance music over the last 15 years.

Australia’s newest adopted son Carl Cox, who continues to deliver with his latest Carl Cox and Friends show microphone and all. Always a pleaser, Carl mixes crowd faves with tomorrow’s future classics fresh from his Carl Cox and Friends night in Ibiza, a highlight of the island. Carl continues to top the worlds DJ Magazine Top 10 list for the 15th year in a row, deserving and award itself!

Israeli super group Infected Mushroom are back by popular demand, to play in front of 1000s and be shown by Stereosonic to Australia, why these guys will be the next Prodigy. An explosive live show by Duvdev and Erez Eisen with full band and unprecedented energy which will demonstrate why the guys this year, rocketed into the DJ Magazine top 10 after touring the world doing over 180 shows in 12 months.
