Streetlight Self Titled Mini Album Launch

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

Bursting from relative obscurity by winning 2006’s Next Big Thing in WA, Streetlight haven’t sat on their laurels having since supported the likes of Gyroscope, Wolf and Cub, The Valentinos and Snowman, released their debut single ‘Attack That Gentleman’ to a sold out Amplifier bar and played to over 600 fans at Perth’s 2007 Big Day Out.

Now comes the next evolutionary step - Streetlight’s self titled debut mini album which will be launched at the Amplifier Bar this Saturday 23 June.  Recorded at Bergerk! Studios by Al Smith and mastered by the legendary Don Bartley at 301 studios, Streetlight’s vision of releasing a debut of the highest quality has been realised through more than 12 months of the recording process.

Special guests for the launch will be Adelaide’s No Through Road, who are touring in support of their new release through Unstable Ape / Remote Control, fellow much-talked about newcomers Sugar Army, as well as The Dee Dee Dums and Blackmilk.

Check out http://www.myspace.com/streetlightonline to hear a couple of tracks from their self titled mini album, which is available for purchase at the launch and is instore Saturday 7 July.

New Eleventh He Reaches London Song

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007

Eleventh He Reaches London are proud to unveil the first taste of material from their forthcoming second album, due out early 2008.

For The Commonwealth And The Queen’ is a natural progression from where Eleventh left off with their debut ‘The Good Fight For Harmony‘, and is undoubtedly the band’s most focused material yet.

The track is a demo version, taken from Eleventh’s recent sessions at Sovereign Studios with Aidan Barton. The track is featured on the Sovereign Studios Sampler Volume I 2CD compilation, which features songs by some of Australia’s finest heavy bands, all of which have been recorded at Sovereign Studios.

After a eventful start to 2007, including a win at the WAMI Awards, support slots for ISIS, Converge and The Nation Blue, and on-stage knee dislocations, Eleventh He Reaches London will soon retreat to the rehearsal room and recording studio to continue work on their sophmore full-length. Before they disappear for winter, in the coming weeks Eleventh will support Against Me! and The Draft, as well as playing the launch of the Sovereign
Studios Sampler.

For The Commonwealth And The Queen‘ is available for streaming and download over at http://www.myspace.com/eleventhhereacheslondon.
