Bursting from relative obscurity by winning 2006’s Next Big Thing in WA, Streetlight haven’t sat on their laurels having since supported the likes of Gyroscope, Wolf and Cub, The Valentinos and Snowman, released their debut single ‘Attack That Gentleman’ to a sold out Amplifier bar and played to over 600 fans at Perth’s 2007 Big Day Out.
Now comes the next evolutionary step - Streetlight’s self titled debut mini album which will be launched at the Amplifier Bar this Saturday 23 June. Recorded at Bergerk! Studios by Al Smith and mastered by the legendary Don Bartley at 301 studios, Streetlight’s vision of releasing a debut of the highest quality has been realised through more than 12 months of the recording process.
Special guests for the launch will be Adelaide’s No Through Road, who are touring in support of their new release through Unstable Ape / Remote Control, fellow much-talked about newcomers Sugar Army, as well as The Dee Dee Dums and Blackmilk.
