The Garage Kids Rock Festival is going to ROCK your world!  The Garage Kids Rock Festival, WA’S premier all ages youth event is happening on Saturday February 17, outdoors on the Southern Lawn at the Fremantle Arts Centre from 1pm to 9pm.

The Garage Kids balls have all sold out with over 500 youth and parents attending each show.  These shows have highlighted the amazing talent that exists within WA’s youth community. All bands that play have to be 16 years old or younger and have to play original music.

They have been given the opportunity to play their rock music within a safe environment with professional crew to assist, and to great enthusiastic crowds. These shows have demonstrated that youth like and want this kind of entertainment rather than just disco music.

The Garage Kids Rock Festival will feature 10 of WA’s most ROCKIN’ original youth bands including The Flairz, The Real Life Animators, The Watts, Spectrum, Artillery Road, Empty State, The Unleashed, Beneath The Eclipse, Swine and The Change.

The Garage Kids Rock Festival will also feature acoustic acts including Matt Larsen, and celebrity DJ’s Katy Steele (Little Birdy), Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe), Luke Steele (Sleepy Jackson), Rodney Aravena (End of Fashion), Gruesome Twosome and Miss Tickle who will be playing their favourite tunes between each band.

The Garage Kids Rock Festival is also the launch of the new Flairz EP ‘Bullseye‘. There will be food stalls, activities and more.
