Um… where is Savage Garden???!

That’s funny, I also thought of Savage Garden!
I grew up in WA (5 to 14 years, 87-96), and then came back in 2004, all grown up(sort of). I’ve heard of all the artists, but actually don’t know many of the songs!
My parents didn’t listen to many of the music (more into blues, eric clapton, rod stewart, joe cocker, rolling stones), so that’s probably got something to do with it.
When I was away for the 8 years(in The Netherlands), whenever I heard of something Aussie, I usually bought it, so I’ve got Nat Imbruglia and Savage Garden. And then I came to like rock more, so discovered Powderfinger through Aussie friends in 2000.
From the first cd I only really know the John Farnham song, and Yothu Yindi (I lived in two aboriginal communities for a while, that probably had something to do with me being able to ’sing along’ to nearly all the songs from that album!!), as that’s what my parents had.
From the second cd I only know about half the songs…
Oh funny story (well, I think): when I was in year 8(1995) we played that game where you have to guess who you are. I was AC/DC, and even after they told me who I was, I still didn’t know who they were! Very strange, considering I’d been living in WA for nearly 10 years at that stage!
I think this would be a good cd to get, just so I know all the Aussie ‘classics’.
Right, enough rambling for now!!
