2005 was a very memorable year for Youth Group. They signed to the prestigious Epitaph roster, toured Nth America with Death Cab For Cutie, joined The Music for shows in the UK and also performed at Reading & Leeds Festivals.

You may have heard their latest single, ‘Forever Young’ which was part of the hit TV show ‘The O.C’ and was featured on the Channel 10 promo campaign. It is one of the most played tracks across commercial radio - Australia wide, with the video also being highly rotated across Channel V, Video Hits & MTV. Last week the single debuted at #2 on the ARIA singles chart and again firmly holds it’s position this week, a monster result for this Sydney quartet.

The year ahead is already gearing up to be another hectic one. Youth Group are set to support Coldplay on their sold out Australian tour in June/July. They also recently wrapped up a national Big Day Out tour and then headed back to the US where they are currently playing more shows including the prestigious Coachella & Noisepop festivals. In addition to their touring schedule they will also complete their much anticipated third album in LA with Wayne Connolly which will be released July 8.

Youth Group return home next month and have announced their own national tour in May. As a very special treat for fans, Youth Group will be performing a string of intimate shows in nearly all capital cities – playing songs from their brand new album.
