What is a “Jammer”?

A jammer is a new kind of electronic musical instrument, with a field of note-controlling buttons and thumb-operated expressive controls, which is more expressive, easier to learn, and expands musical horizons, the local development of which creates an opportunity for Australia to gain a sustainable competitive advantage in the music-related Creative Industries.

The Perth Bands currently using the Thummer brand Jammer are:

Eskimo Joe (Currently in the recording studio, quite likely to use the Thummer on their new album!)

The Healy’s – If anyone wants to check out the Thummer live this band play every Friday at Rosie O’Grady’s (Northbridge) and Sundays at the Burswood Casino.
